Welcome to The Manet Atelier! In these workshops you will learn the fundamentals of making art the way it was taught for centuries with skills in drawing and painting. In my drawing and painting classes you will learn about proportions, use of light to dark contrast, soft and hard edges and other important skills for life like drawing and painting. I want you to learn how to paint with “character”! with “effect”! And you will learn what that all means in my class. In my painting classes we will be using oil paint and you will learn why oil paint is famously known as the most versatile painting medium artists have been using for hundreds of years to create all kinds of incredible paintings. All the set up and materials are included, all you have to do is show up with an OPEN eye and a curious MIND!
